New EP “Teenage Heartache” out now!

Nashville, TN — July 28th, 2023: Teen Country singer-songwriter Madelyn Rose's highly anticipated EP, "Teenage Heartache," is officially available now on all streaming platforms. Following the successful June release of her latest single "Sober," this captivating EP takes listeners on a journey through the perspective of a sixteen-year-old navigating love and heartbreak in today's generation. With relatable lyrics that transform heartache into confidence, each track captures the rollercoaster of emotions experienced during the teenage years of love and loss. Co-written and produced by Madelyn Rose, along with Justin Klump, Lauryn Tauber, Tori Tullier, Deanna Walker, and David Spielburg, this compilation showcases Rose's remarkable talent as a singer-songwriter.

"Working on 'Teenage Heartache' was such a surreal experience for me," says Rose. "The first three singles were recorded in June of 2022, where I was in a completely different place in life. I later recorded 'Sober' and 'Missing Me Now' in May of 2023, giving more of a rock meets country vibe."

This EP announcement follows a series of impressive 2023 singles, including "Sober" and "Heart Space," where Rose tackles similar themes of navigating heartbreak from her uniquely youthful perspective. The momentum continues to build as her previous single, "Won't Be Me," amassed over 25K streams in its first two weeks, earning Rose the title of "a rising star in the country music scene" by Guitar Girl Magazine.

Recent coverage of Madelyn Rose's new EP include The Nash News, Cowgirl Magazine, Lovebomb Magazine and many more! Sober was also feature on Spotify's New Music Country Friday playlist.

Having started playing music at the tender age of four, Rose later honed her songwriting skills during the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic, mastering the essentials of recording, mixing, and mastering in her own bedroom. Based in central New York, she took her music to the next level by collaborating with the local talent in Nashville, the music capital city.

Recording sessions in her Nashville home-away-from-home have brought forth some of Rose's most impressive and honest work, showcasing her unique sensibilities with a rich and curious production palette. Her evolution as a songwriter is evident, and at just sixteen years old, Rose continues to resonate with her generation through her lived experiences as a teenager in small-town America. Drawing inspiration from classic country greats like her idol Carrie Underwood, Rose is poised to become an important voice in her generation's newfound relationship with country music, all while honing her craft and identity in songwriting.
